Important Commencement Information
This link provides general information for graduates and their guests regarding the Commencement Ceremony on May 20th.
Please note: The University is not distributing tickets this year; however, we are asking for RSVPs to be submitted so that we can get a head count for the event. Graduating students were to have submitted an online RSVP stating their intent to attend and number of guests attending by May 1st.
This link will provide you with details surrounding the weekend events. Please note that invitations for weekend events will be distributed via the specific University program or School.
This offers great information and answers to questions you might have regarding the ceremony. For instance, did you know that there is no check-in at the Arena, so you will need to obtain your name card prior to Commencement Day from the Registrar's Office (if you didn't make it to the Commencement Extravaganza in March)?
This link provides information for those graduates or guests that might need accommodations at Commencement.
If you are placing online orders for your academic regalia (the required cap, gown, tassel, and hood), all orders must be received by April 20th except for School of Pharmacy graduates who must order their regalia by April 1st.
Please select the link above for more information on photographs taken the day of the ceremony.
As you make preparations for the 2017 Commencement at Notre Dame of Maryland University (NDMU), we ask that you take just a couple of minutes to tell us YOUR NDMU story by selecting the link above.
You are almost done! Right now, you are nearing the end of your time at Notre Dame of Maryland University and quickly approaching graduation and your diploma. Each year, Notre Dame graduates a select, creative, thoughtful group of alumnae and alumni that go on to make an incredible impact on our communities across the globe. Founded in the tradition of the School Sisters of Notre Dame, we continue to focus on individual students and nurturing their natural talents so that they can be used for the greater good.
We hope you are as proud of yourself as we are of you! In honor of your success and the amazing faculty, staff, parents, and administrators that helped you along the way, please consider a gift to NDMU. Any and all gifts count, but we are asking our seniors and graduates to give $20.17 in honor of their classmates and their graduation. Please click on the "Senior Class & Graduating Student Giving Information" link above.
